I think it's because he was the Torchbearer for the Green Lantern Corps when it was destroyed by Paralex and was being reformed. But now that it's back to to it's former glory(more or less), and the Guardian's are starting to become huge @$$'s, that Kyle should move on to a different corps, especially since earth has 3 other human green lanterns. And what better corps than one trying to inspire hope throughout the universe, plus he'd have a reason to stay on earth(the for Green Lanterns is 2 per sector, but as a Blue Lantern he would get assigned a sector and it won't matter if there are already 2 lanterns there if they are a different color. I personally think Kyle would make an awesome Blue Lantern.

It looks good, but according to the latest GL issue, it's Hal that's expected to become the leader of the Blue Lantern Corps.

Well, this was done before they talked about Hal becoming a Blue Lantern. I don't like the idea at all, they've just reestablished him as a GL and now they want to change his color?

i really like this drawing sometimes makes me wish that there was a Comic about the Blue lanterns.
